The Basics of Ran

I called Crown and Crumpet today and I reserved a party for 20 (their maximum) at 11am on Sunday, January 10th. I wanted it to be on the 9th, but it was unavailable.

I'm opening up the RSVPs to my friend's list first. It's going to be $25 per person, which includes the gratuity. In order to avoid confusion I would like payment at the time of reservation. Please include your lj name with the payment and mark it as "other" under personal. My paypal is shafaka at gmail dot com.

I would like everyone interested to email me, at the address mentioned above, their name and a short paragraph describing the things they like. It could be motifs (cupcakes, roses, crosses), hobbies (reading, fly fishing) or an aesthetic theme (gothic, steampunk). I will match people up and forward them their recipient's information. The limit for the gift is $15.

I've been busy working more hours at my part time job, in addition to my full time job. I've also been taking a total beginners swimming class (Aka the "not drown" class) and gathering together materials for my grad school app on my evenings off which is why I've been scarce.

I was so tired I fell asleep at the Deathclock concert this past Saturday. Not while Deathclock was on, though.

I'm blaming the tiredness on my blood donation. I did it at the red cross, and unlike Stanford, they don't take any less than 500ml. Stanford takes less from me, around 450ml, so I feel a little less tired. It's been about a week and I feel better now. It could be psychological though. I took the next day off at my main job, but did a double shift at my part time one, cleaned out my car, helped my brother buy a car battery and visited my university for grad school stuff and I felt fine.

I am looking forward to the 4 day weekend.

Edit: Tea party and gift exchange for January 9th. Seems like it would be fun to do. The lady who runs Crown and Crumpet also likes lolitas too.
